Introduction
Welcome to Gadgetorama's second unboxing. Today, I unbox the ASUS Eee PC 900.
Canada often gets gadgets much later than many other countries. As a result, sites located in these countries (or who receive products as part of a company's marketing) will often post their own unboxings before the product is even on its way to Canada. As a result, I'm still not sure that unboxings will be a regular feature at Gadgetorama. At the same time, I got enough encouraging words about the first Gadgetorama unboxing that I decided to post a second. Again, let me know if this something of interest to you or not.
Now, where's that box?

First impressions
I know that the Eee PC is small but every time I hold it, I'm reminded how small it is. The keyboard is tiny and I know that it will take some getting used to (especially given that I use ergonomic keyboards most of the time). At the same time, the few tests I did on other units left me pleasantly surprised.
I also like the addition of the protective sleeve that comes with it. The Eee PC fits in it snugly. While it won't protect your Eee PC from a drop, it will definitely protect it from incidental scratches and smaller daily abuses (perhaps until you can get something else).
Conclusion
I'm off to get this baby charged up. It's almost time to play!
