The good news: The latest version of Google Maps enables pinch-and-zoom functionality on the Motorola DROID. The bad news: It's only available in Google Maps.
Similar to the version released for the Google Nexus One, Google Maps 3.4.0 also comes with:
- Starred item synchronization with maps.google.com
- Search suggestions from your personal maps.google.com history
- A night mode that automatically changes your screen at night for easier viewing and driving
Google Maps 3.4 is available from the Android Market as a free download.
